Pops has been on his game lately with sending me super cool links. So if your Saturday is in need of some visual/aural pleasure, check these out: Sony World Photography Awards and Landscape Photos by NatGeo. These images make my heart flutter. Photography is an art that will always amaze me... the ability to capture precious, fleeting moments of beauty, laughter, and emotion, and lock them in place for all of time strikes me as really quite extraordinary.
And for all of you music/guitar lovers, check out this awesome cover he sent over of Gotye's "Somebody I Used to Know" where 5 band members use one guitar to play the song. The original video's pretty cool too if you're in an emo/reflective/artsy/post-breakup/somewhat-scandalous mood.
