This

From running, to drinking, to eating, to stuffing, to praying, to yelling, we all have our default ways of dealing with "those days". You know, the ones when you wake up on the wrong side of the bed and it's downhill from there. For me, country music and coffee shops have long been my drugs of choice, if you will. And especially when I'm listening to This by D Rucks (totally worth 3.5 minutes of your life)

Maybe it's the memory of singing this at the top of my lungs with Becca and Manda Jo on our graduation road trip, or that the lyrics remind me one day I'll look back at right now and understand that it was part of a greater plan, or it could quite possibly be my infatuation with his dreamy voice :)

Regardless, gazing through the window, sipping hot coffee, and listening to the buzz of conversations and songs about life/love/challenges, will always make me stop sulking long enough to realize that "those days" aren't usually all that terrible.

For my few and far between country-loving friends and my awesome pops, these are some other songs I can't seem to get enough of lately:

A Little More You by Little Big Town (favorite chorus of all time)
Amen by Edens Edge (thank you K Farbs!)
Lost by Chris Young (this song is motivation enough to get back on the dating wagon)
Colder Weather by Zac Brown Band (haunting and beautiful)
God Gave Me You by Blake Shelton (one day)
